our attorneys and counsels

Banessa Llombart Mejia, Esq.
Founding Attorney
About me:
I became an attorney because I am passionate about helping families secure their futures and protect their loved ones.
With a background in both real estate law and estate planning, I founded Llombart Law LLC to honor my grandparents and parents, recognizing the struggles they faced when there was a loss in our family. Their perseverance inspired me to create a practice that helps others build and protect their own legacies that truly cares for their clients and their families.
I have lived in Pembroke, Massachusetts, since 2011, where I reside with my husband, twin toddlers, and a 20-year-old in college. As both a parent and an attorney, I understand firsthand the importance of planning for the future. My goal is to educate the community about estate planning and real estate matters, providing personalized legal services to ensure families have peace of mind and financial security for generations to come.

Astin Harlow
Client Services Legal Director
About me:
I earned my Juris Doctor from New England Law | Boston, where I received a certificate in Intellectual Property and was named to the Dean’s List for multiple semesters. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, with an emphasis in Interpersonal Communication, from the University of Missouri (Mizzou), where I conducted my own undergraduate research.
In my role, I assist with the preparation and drafting of estate planning documents, including wills and trusts, helping clients create thoughtful plans to protect their families, preserve their assets, and carry out their long-term wishes. My legal training, combined with hands-on drafting experience, allows me to approach estate planning with precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of the legal frameworks that support effective legacy planning.
Originally from Missouri, I bring both analytical and creative perspectives to my work. Outside of the office, I enjoy reading and oil painting. I am also a former competitive figure skater and now enjoy skating recreationally, with hopes of coaching in the future.

Brian Franzen
Technology Director
About me:
As Technology Director, I bring more than 20 years of experience leading IT strategy, digital transformation, and innovation across a wide range of industries. Throughout my career, I’ve built scalable cloud infrastructures, implemented AI-driven solutions, and guided teams through complex technology initiatives that delivered measurable results.
Before joining Llombart Law, I led digital modernization efforts in real estate, retail, and consulting - pioneering remote-first operations and developing one of the region’s first compliant e-commerce platforms. My passion is making technology accessible, secure, and aligned with organizational goals so that IT empowers people rather than getting in their way.
Outside of work, I enjoy restoring antique smoking pipes, exploring emerging AI tools, mentoring the next generation of IT leaders, and co-illustrating a close family members series of children's books.
